Reopening Update

As we grow ever closer to our reopening date, we wanted to share this message with all of our regular customers and potential new customers alike.

When we reopen on Monday 13th July there will be some obvious changes to how we operate and some not so obvious. Your experience with us is going to be a little different but we will be trying our hardest to make it as unnoticeable as possible.

Please see below our new temporary rules based upon government guidelines and common sense.

For the foreseeable future we will require where possible that all customers pre book their visit to us. You can book at the moment via email @ [email protected] and once we are open again on the normal number 01323 844859. If you do arrive without a booking it may mean that we cannot give you a table. During this time, we will be operating on a table service only basis. You will not be able to go to the bar to order drinks or food.

Working on the government guidelines we are able to take bookings inside for tables with up to a maximum of 6 guests which could be made up of 2 households. Outside tables are able to have a maximum of 6 guests which can be all from separate households or larger tables that are made up of 2 separate households (for these bookings the maximum on each table will still be 6.)

We have always been a family friendly establishment and children are always welcome and will continue to be so but at this time we must ask that children remain at the table with their parents or guardians on the day. We are very sorry, but our children’s play areas will be off bounds until the government guidelines change.

All customers will be required to present themselves at the main entrance. The main person on the booking will be asked for their name and contact details so we are compliant with the government track and trace system. You will then be taken to your table where your drinks order will be taken. We will then return to take your food order if your table is dining with us. Cutlery will be brought to your table once you have ordered and condiments delivered upon request.

Our bathrooms will be operating on a one in one out system so please adhere to this at all times. There are hand sanitising stations at entry and exit points and outside the toilets. Please use these whenever possible.

Please take time to remember that we and our staff are learning as everyone else is so please bear with us if service is a little slower than normal. We are doing everything to make sure our customers and staff are safe at this very difficult time.

As we move through the next few weeks/months the new conditions we find ourselves under will undoubtedly change so please look out for any changes in our operating systems.

We are really excited to welcome you back and we hope to see you all soon.
